ReplyDeleteHey, I ran the patch according to the wiki and the text file included in the rar but I am not sure if I did it correctly. Just in case, what is the patched mkv file size supposed to be?
ReplyDeleteThe original file is exactly 192629128 bytes, the patched file exactly 192629121 bytes. The original file's CRC hash is BF08EE78, the patched file's CRC hash is 0068CCA8.
DeleteOriginal file hash and size are correct but xdelta keeps saying the patch is an invalid input. And yes i tried to redownload the patch

klaxa updated the .zip to include a patch for windows, for some reason there is a slight difference, simply use the file ending in "_win.patch" if applicable.
ReplyDeleteThe patch doesn't work on Windows. I'm guessing it's not just the patch file itself since it's not with the xdelta extension but rather says "patch file" and not just that but the .zip says it's corrupt with 3 errors. See here: http://pastebin.com/TrT5KtUF

I don't know what the patch does but maybe corrects that bad politic line? I think it was in it here?
I didn't know NTFS didn't support '?' characters in filenames. The _win.patch file works with xdelta3, the normal .patch file works with xdelta 1.X.X, because I didn't see there were different versions of the software in my repositories. The patch fixes two typos only.

ReplyDeleteI tried running both of the exe but they open a window for a second and them close right away. What do I do? Is that supposed to happen?
